Married to a wonderful Irish man who cleans my house for me. He also cooks and does laundry so I consider myself a very lucky lady! I previously worked in the computer industry but after years of a very stressful job and being on planes all the time, even though I love traveling, I decided it was time to do something I really love which is cooking.

So this is where I am now -cooking! Many of my family members are coeliac and being coeliac myself has challenged me to develop new gluten-free recipes both sweet and savory which I sell at the market. I also have two sons, both whom are married and living in the United States.

I have many interests and hobbies such as gardening, sewing, reading, travel and not nearly enough time in the day to do them, especially when I spend so much time in the kitchen.

I have been part of t The Cottage Market Ladysbridge since September 2015 and my focus is on gluten-free foods as well as American type food products such as my sweet pickle relish. I enjoy the market because I love meeting people, getting to know them and talking about food. I also love the atmosphere created with all the stallholders and the variety of products at the market.

As you might guess, I love food of all types. While many people I talk to love food, they don’t enjoy grocery shopping. I don’t really enjoy shopping except for grocery/food shopping. Put me in a food store or market, any grocery store and I can spend hours walking the aisles looking at all the food products. I also love to see what other people are putting in their carts as it gives me insight as to how people are spending their money on food and what they are eating in this day and age.
